I thought he was just Son of Coul badass in that.

TV, movies, web media--this thread is the home for any Joss projects that don't already have their own threads, such as Dr. Horrible.
Can I just say, I am in love with Clark Gregg's voice. Listening to him talk makes me feel warm and fuzzy and squishy.
Am behind in paying my cable bill, so boo to rewatching on my DVR, but at least it's on Hulu already!

Badass!Coulson is Badass.

The ABC site implied full episodes there too.
Bland White Guy is bland. And Tuesday nights are the worst nights for me. Woe.
I can't believe Ming Na will be 50 in November, damn her genetics! Or healthy life style.
I'm still working through a rewatch, and again I am still struck by Coulson clutching the files to his chest in the beginning (it pinged me the first go-round). It is such a nice touch, however his recovery came about, that he does this defensive gesture against a horrible wound. Or mayhaps that's me reading too much into it. Whatevs, I really liked him clutching the files to his torso.

Wow! I still remember her from when she was on As The World Turns, and I just looked it up to find out it was 25 years ago.
Happily, I got to hear the Grr Argh guy at the end on Hulu.
The Coulson-Matrix moment didn't bother me, as it was barely there. I had missed it first go-round, and was thinking it was a full body shot from various reports, but it's not even a full-torso shot when he ducks back out of the way. So, could be hinting at something, but it could just be TV magic, it remains to be seen for me.
When was the Gunn moment?
The file-clutching pinged me, too, so I wonder what the significance is.
I could watch Son of Coul being badass all day long.
Either a producer or a network exec was quoted as saying, and I swear I am not making this up, maybe women will remember Clark Gregg from The New Adventures of Old Christine and give this show a chance.
I do remember him from that! When he first turned up in Iron Man, I thought it was hilarious. I still giggle about it. he was such a sad sack on that show, and now he's kicking with super heroes!
I have just watched it on Hulu. No ABC for me. I always watch TV with captioning on anymore. I miss stuff if I don't. It helped to follow the geek twins dialogue.
I was more surprised to see Colby Smulders. I thought it had been explicitly said somewhere that she wouldn't be on the show.
