You're talking to Serenity. And, Early... Serenity is very unhappy.

brillig

the repetition of "Tahiti is a magical place" has to mean something.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It doesn't have to. The cheese does not wear him. So to speak.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Tahiti=Asgardian namesake planet?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Skye seemed like to be Baby!Faith, no powers, but starting to snark.

I'm going to have to agree with the Eliza Dushku vibe.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I liked Fitz and Simmons, but I think I understood maybe 30% of what they were saying.

Seconded!

I don't know why I didn't consider the fact that this Coulson could be a clone/LMD. Duh. I was just thinking that Tahiti was the S.H.I.E.L.D. mad science lab and I don't know, I'm not trying to guess. In any case, loved Coulson in the episode.

I liked Skye, and Ward was okay. Wasn't a lot of Melinda May, but I look forward to more. I liked the story with JAR although I, too, was confused by all the smiles after they apparently killed him but I guess they didn't kill him after all.

It's a pilot, and I'm onboard. Let's see where the show goes.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

Yeah, you kind of have to realize what Fitz and Simmons being there means, or notice that the gun Ward is holding at the end is the Night-Night Gun, not his sniper rifle.

Also, I just rewatched, and I swear there's one part where Skye calls JAR's character "Gunn".

I HEARD THAT TOO.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

What I like more than anything is reading Buffista talk about a Joss network show again. Yay! I also liked Fitz/Simmons and concur that I only got about half of what they were saying. I'm reserving judgment on Agent Lone Wolf and Skye (although the name alone sets my teeth on edge) but I'm all in for Ming Na Wen kicking booty every week.

Here's hoping JAR still has the Centipede thingy in place. I kind of assumed so what with Coulson telling him they were counting on his good character to make a difference, too, but I could be wrong about that. Still, it'd be nice to see him again, and the really adorable baby JAR was rocking a mighty 'fro which I would also like to see again at some point.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Agent Coulson is married to Jennifer Grey!?
