Amyth played her Cabin in the Woods dvd for me last night. I'm not a huge horror movie fan, but I was really interested in what this movie did with some of the tropes.

And Calli, I do like horror (hey, Shir!), but I quite enjoyed Cabin on several levels. DH and I QUITE liked! (Ooh, I need to ask for that on DVD for Xmas.)

I'm rewatching Dollhouse with Mark, and I forgot how good it was! If anything, it's even better when you watch it straight through!
I kind of wish there had been a different lead actress though. I like Eliza, but it often seems like this character was too much for her.
And I've completely developed a crush on Fran Kranz!

Eliza is too bad for me to call the show overall good. Even when the writing is good, I want to dock Joss points for thinking that she can act like more than two (it's Christmas, I'm feeling generous) people. The uber-genius who has everything in her head to lead the rag tag band to topple the Companies and save the world?
How about start with stern and then work your way up to gravitas?
