Can anyone (other that a stunt person) beat Terry O'Quinn's hat trick? Not only was he on 3 Chris Carter shows, but he played 3 different characters on X-Files.

There's always Jeffrey Coombs and his Star Trek run--he played two different characters in one episode of DS9, plus appearing on Voyager and Enterprise. Nine roles total.
And there's a different sort of record for Richard Belzer, who's played the same character on nine different series.
