"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Enver has a twin brother?!?

I'll be in my bunk.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wonder what makes one Gjokaj twin go into acting and the other one into accounting. I mean, I wonder if Enver's good and math and if Demir can do accents.

I thought these episodes had heart--I don't care much about Sierra, but I quite like Priya, and whatever Anthony or Victor wants he should get. I'm not sure if I like Topher, but he interests me a great deal more than he did in the first season. He's growing. He's getting heart.

Art Crawl!!!

Yes, the characters are becoming more interesting as they go away.

A friend of mine thought that this was a bit like The Peacekeeper Wars in that we're seeing things that would probably have been developed over a longer period of time all dropped in at once.

Would the Caroline stuff have been more interesting had they been able to put hints of it in more gradually? Possibly.

Also, Ballard and the solving of the Ballard-brain thing was awful quick.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

My brother called me today about some Xmas stuff, but he also said he noticed that the director of the second ep last night was John Cassaday (definitively that spelling).

I'm thinking it IS that John Cassaday, given his history with Joss.

Yes, it absolutely is.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I'm thinking it IS that John Cassaday

I was wondering about that too. Did he have any previous experience in directing?

I just told DW that Enver has a twin who's a real estate analyst. She screamed.

No, Joss gave him his first hookup.

John Cassaday Dollhouse interview at CBR.

Cassaday was given the invite to step behind the camera from his former "Astonishing" writer and "Dollhouse" creator Joss Whedon early in the show's first season. "It was about the span of a year between him asking me to do it and actually getting the green light," the artist told CBR. "The big stumbling block was [the series] just getting renewed. Once that happened, it was up to Joss to work his magic and get me through the right doors. I truly didn't get too worked up over it until I was completely approved and given shooting dates. There was just too much that was out of my control, so I just let the hands of fate do that voodoo they do."
