It's Victor I loved from the git go. His doll state is so open and childlike, and all his characters are so well-polished and distinct. I'm still not drawn to Sierra, but I think she did the story well.
Jossverse 1: Emotional Resonance & Rocket Launchers
TV, movies, web media--this thread is the home for any Joss projects that don't already have their own threads, such as Dr. Horrible.
I'm not understanding, though, how it's okay that Sierra and Victor remember each other. They seem to be breaking their internal rules on how the Dollhouse works.
Back in Needs, not!Victor is telling not!Sierra something along the lines of him remembering knowing her as Sierra. That he was still there, trapped inside some corner of his mind/body/Victor, unable to do anything or express how he felt. I don't know if Show is remembering that exchange, though.

I'm not certain what Glam meant by internal rules, but what I don't get is why the people who run the Dollhouse are allowing it. Surely, non-dolls are seeing them holding hands, etc.
not to mention sleeping in the same pod! scandalous! do you think all the female dolls have iuds?
do you think all the female dolls have iuds?
They routinely have sex on missions so I'd assume that contraception was standard. I wonder what they do about STDs.
new ethical question for future episode: if a doll contracts herpes (or any other STD that cannot be "cured" and can be transmitted to clients) are they retired, or does Adelle keep sending them out knowing about potential infection? (and would anyone really care if a dollhouse client paid millions to contract an STD?)

The dolls have a full medical examination after every encounter, probably includes STD tests. The clients probably have to provide medical info, too.
I just watched the latest episode. I have to say, I am not feeling the love. I find Sierra's story arc extremely problematic.
I did like badass Boyd. He reminded me a bit of Book here.
I am also wondering if all the dollhouses have this level of identity creep in their inmates. Like do other houses have an Alpha in the attic?
did anyone else notice how flimsy her accent was?
isn't that the actress' real accent? I thought she was Australian.
