Zoe: What's that, sir? Mal: Freedom, is what. Zoe: No, I meant what's that? Mal: Oh. Yeah. Just step around it. I think something must've been living in here.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Enver, Enver, Enver! Nice work. Eliza was mostly ignorable until the switch. I wonder if her guy lived. I was thinking he needed a knee to the groin. Stabby to the neck was a bit much.

Liked having Boyd back in play, and Ballard doing something he's theoretically good at. They never covered Boyd's background, did they?

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Script to last night is up here; [link]

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

yes, but that was a male response, they don't think about kneeing anyone in the groin.

One of my issues is how easily the serial killer accepted that he was in a woman's body (or that he had a new face with Victor). I think I might have to have at least a small existential crisis if I woke up in a new body. He didn't even wonder what happened. Or are we supposed to think that the idiot uncle explained it to his satisfaction? I also thought that slamming the uncle into the steering wheel was not in character.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yeah, that was very strange.

This is the same guy who beat a woman to death with a croquet mallet.

Yes, but that was the woman that he had incapacitated and thought she was a whore. I find it hard to believe that he would attack a powerful man.

Interesting interview with Enver Gjokaj (very mild spoilers). Apparently he developed the character and the guest star mimicked him.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Enver better be a star after this.

Also, I laughed when the guy said, "Now watch this drive."

This is just the perfect role for him, though. He gets to play so many different characters and rock ass at all of them. I don't know what sort of regular character I'd like to see him play week-to-week.

Also, I laughed when the guy said, "Now watch this drive."

Yeah, me too.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Sounds to me like he would be PERFECT on "Leverage"...
