At what point does Echo get a say, then? When she's more aware? Or never? Shouldn't Claire not get a say and be wiped, then?
ETA: Thanks P-C.

I'm not sure why Echo should get a say. Caroline is the legal person. Caroline did not agree to permanently go away.
Either did whoever Whiskey was. But I don't think I'd kill Claire as a person - I like her.
But I don't think I'd kill Claire as a person - I like her.
That's hardly the criterion at hand.
True, but that doesn't have any bearing on the fact that she's just squatting.
Yeah, but, you know - if I'm Topher and I wipe Claire and put back the original personality and it's Fred, I'd be really upset.
Joking aside, she might be squatting but she exists. Who am I to say she doesn't deserve to?
If Echo can remember all of the people she's been, including Caroline, and synthesize those memories into a whole person that encompasses all of them, that would be the most satisfying for me. Caroline was the original person, yes, but she wouldn't be the Caroline who was recorded, now, even if she hadn't been wiped, etc.
Look at whatshername, who November is now. She's not quite right, is she?
Any spas with suspicious looking chairs?
Going to a spa tomorrow, will be alert to the furniture.
She's not quite right, is she?
That's the popular theory.
Who am I to say she doesn't deserve to?
You don't. I think the person who has dibs is the person that was there first, barring any sort of integration of pre- and post- personalities taking place.
I'm not sure at this point if it would be possible for Just Caroline to be put back in her body. I think perhaps Echo has become the dominant personality.
