Well, that was much closer to what I expect to see from Joss than almost anything in season one.
Helo/Apollo fight FTW!
You know, I never see Helo in Ballard. Tahmoh Penikett (dude, that's a name and a half) is good.
And how did I never know Jamie Bamber was British?

You don't watch L&O: UK? Though I don't remember him having quite as crusty an accent in it.
I dunno - everytime I've watched Fox in the last month I've seen a promo or a teaser, and I don't watch a whole lot on Fox
I heard plenty of radio commercials as well.
Referring to some talk upthread. I will occasionally make jokes about the fact that I am a fat dude. People who don't want me to dislike them intensely don't make the same jokes about me.

There's a L&O UK??
Looking at IMDB, I see he's been in lots of things on British TV that passed me by. This is the one place where the 'I hate UK TV' thing counts against me.
There's a L&O UK??
With Jamie Bamber AND Freema Agyeman!
I don't watch it. But a friend of mine has been posting amusing picspams.
With Jamie Bamber AND Freema Agyeman!
Is it actually worth me breaking my near-total* moratorium on UK TV for?
*I watch Doctor Who, Torchwood and Being Human. And those via the internet.
I wonder if he is the one who came up with the whole mind-wipe, switch-out personality thing or if he refined the idea. Or if he just does it really well. Do we know?
It's explained in Epitaph 1 that
Topher didn't come up with the idea but he figured out a way to make the process go much faster. It used to take hours to do an implant and now it takes minutes.
Ah, thanks, Jon. I've been meaning to watch it. It's on iTunes. Guess I better get at it.
That makes me feel better about Topher. He's a geek, but not an evil genius.
Sepinwall put it really well:
He's worked so hard and so fast proving he was the smartest kid in the room that he's only now coming to realize he should have slowed down to ask "Should I do this?" before he asked "Can I do this?"
