Wow. I don't even know how to answer that in a way that won't make me sound like an asshole.
Plus, I don't think that "people who never ran from the room at the thought of a 'Once More With Feeling' singalong" is a Nielsen demographic.
TV, movies, web media--this thread is the home for any Joss projects that don't already have their own threads, such as Dr. Horrible.

Sorry, didn't mean to put you on the spot.
This is Michael Steele's SHIT!
don't you mean his shizzle?
If he had a bit more game, maybe "shizzle" would be appropriate. :-)
I just watched the first two episodes of Glee and loved them! I think part of love is seeing teachers portrayed as more than just punch lines. Sure, the stereotypes are still there, but seeing them with their own lives, dreams, and flaws (not to mention their own sense of humor!) was refreshing for me.
Okay, having now gone and Googled Glee, I think I can safely say that this sounds like my cup of tea AND a bag of chips.
Y'know. Not that I wander round singing show tunes all day at work, or anything. No siree.
looks shifty
Both episodes of Glee that I've caught have provided next to nothing in the way of plots/characterization for the minority cast. They don't get leads in the songs, they get a moment or two, like when the gay guy gets thrown in a dumpster.
Especially clearly when the actors clearly have the vocal talent to take the lead in any of the singing -- why wouldn't the teacher leading the glee choir give them material to showcase their showstopping talents?
I liked the pilot episode much more than the 2nd ep. I'm holding my breath for the 3rd ep. The 2nd ep was too overproduced and too much.
I like Glee well enough, but I think they've done way too much tweaking to the kids' voices.
Huh, the only vocal tweaking i noticed was the football player at the beginning of "don't stop believing"... But i may also be too in love with the wide eyed germaphobic guidance counselor to have noticed much except her and hot mr teacher's shoulders. Oh yeah, take that jacket off every episode!
