"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

But Tim kills off beloved characters that we've grown to empathize with. So most of the Dollhouse people will live to cause squick another day, surely?

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Hmm. You make a valid point.

...perhaps Not!Helo will have a purpose, and be on the brink of doing something truly plotty and constructive, and then will die saving a busload of nuns and school kids and a basket of puppies from a bunch of defunct, axe-wielding Actives?

...nah, I got nothin'. But I'm glad it's a good one.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Matt,

ha! maybe a supreme being will burst out of the womb of Topher or something.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Tim kills off beloved characters that we've grown to empathize with

He can do that in one ep.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

But Tim kills off beloved characters that we've grown to empathize with. So most of the Dollhouse people will live to cause squick another day, surely?

Ahahahaha!

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Or they're thinking of holding it over for Season 2?

Entirely possible, although ep 13 is already listed on the Dollhouse season one DVD so it wouldn't make a huge amount of sense. The DVD comes out at Comic-Con, so the episode would be 'out there' a full 6 months before a season two could make it to air also.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I canna spoil. There were a handful of times that I turned around and said, "hey, how you doin', Faith?"

Tim said, "hey, I'm no fool."

It wasn't cheesey, and it fit with the character. I think unless you were a big fan of Angel, you wouldn't catch it, but I saw Angelus, Lilah, Faith, and a little bit of "I'll take away your bucket"esqueness for good measure.

You know, a Tim ep.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Okay, I'm officially very excited. I mean, I'm generally an easy, easy television slut and I've been less discontented with Dollhouse than a lot of y'all, but I've still been wishing that it would be just a bit thinkier, sadder, tighter, meatier, better. Allyson's standards are way higher than mine, so if the Tim finale gets even a curt nod of approval from her then it must be seriously good.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Tim gives good ep. So good, in fact, he makes the finale without meaning to.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

maybe a supreme being will burst out of the womb of Topher or something.

I don't think his hair is quite tragic enough.
