Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I think I'm going to close Dollverse. The ick is too much for me. I'm trying to work out if it's okay to say something about it on the way out of the room, or if I'll look like an ass.

Well, shit. I have to say, I would happily trade away Dollhouse to get another season of Sarah Connor Chronicles. At least based on what I've seen of DH to date. In part because SCC is doing some stuff that's really interesting, in ways I haven't seen any television do. It's a kind of creativity I wish could be fostered.

I knew some SCC fans would feel this way, but I don't think that's the equation. (Dollhouse in; Sarah out.) (Flashback to Dark Angel v. Firefly.)

I think it's more that Fox is willing to go two seasons to see if a show can grow an audience and that's it. I'm surprised that Dollhouse is going to be picked up. And I know it looks like one is surviving at the other's expense. But I don't think SCC was going to a third season anyway. In fact, I think some of SCC's survival depended on pairing it with Dollhouse this year.

No, I don't either.

But I would still do it! If it got me more SCC!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

My sister has just caught up on DH. She asked me a question -- is she catching hints on Dollhouse because she knows Joss' style or because it is more obvious?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Or maybe because we know that things aren't always what they seem in the Jossverse?

BTW, I was very disappointed that Mike was not wearing a red shirt. Because we knew that someone was going to get caught and it couldn't be one of the big four.

Well, yeah, but I'd trade all the seasons of Supernatural for a second season of Firefly.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I had been so looking forward to the appearance of Teddy Sears (about the only thing to love in Raising The Bar), and was quite disappointed that he played an uncool character (one might complain that November wasn't made of steel, but she was head and shoulders above Mike in the ranking of who I'd want around me in a crisis. Probably above Caroline too) with relatively little screen time.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Great quote from the TWOP recap this week:

Caroline's kind of annoying, has no perspective, and can make me root against her even when she's doing noble things, which just goes to show how accurately written a twentysomething she is
