My three favorite romcoms are: Notting Hill, Love, Actually, and The American President.
I am nothing if not completely predictable.
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Aw, I love Love, Actually. I don't generally think of it as a rom-com, but whatever it is, I love it.
Also, any movie with Meg Ryan except Code of Honor? and Restoration.
Oh, but! Top Gun!
I've never even seen the original Ocean's Eleven. And the remake is one of my favorite movies ever.
I *love* the remake, but not its sequels. Feh.
I really like Love, Actually although in my mind it's not a romantic comedy because it's not focused on one couple (which may not make sense to anyone's brain but mine).
ETA: x-post with Amy!
Notting Hill
That's the one rom-com we own. (Unless you count Shaun of the Dead or Fido as rom-coms.)
Fido
I caught the beginning of this at my parents' house (they Tivoed it because they love twisted stuff like zombie movies), and I *need* to see the rest of it. It's so gorgeous to look at, too, with all the oversaturated colors (except for the zombies, of course).
I highly recommend Bella Martha to anyone that likes the genre. It's the German film that No Reservations was based on. It reminded me a lot of Baby Boom.
Fido is adorable. And yes, the art direction for it is just fantastic.
I *love* the remake, but not its sequels. Feh.
Yeah. It's one of the few times I can ignore Julia Roberts. But Twelve? Just asinine. God, it's like capoeira is the kiss of death for movies.
The third act was TOTES (are we still saying that? no one forwards me memos)
Emmett's been trying to promulgate "Totes Magotes" since I Love You, Man.
