I'm not sure how old he is, but I heard him use the word 'newfangled' one time, so he's gotta be pretty far gone.

The primary time I see another woman here at work is if one of the two others happens to be in the restroom while I'm there. I'm not chatty there. 99% of the women I interact with outside of work know only kids and church as their conversational topics--or they're asking for my order. I can only think of one other woman I talk to on a regular basis, ie I see maybe once a week, and she's the wife of one of Hubby's good friends. Aside from that, there's Hubby's sister, who we see maybe once a month. Other than that I only talk to guys.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oops!

My world is submerged in women, online and off, outside of the office. Things are different with no martial arts and no improv.

Compassionately intolerant

My life is pretty much all women, all the time. Except for one couple (men) I see several times per week. At the moment, nearly all my clients are women as well.

When I'm with them...well, I can't think of the last conversation I had about men.

Present company excepted, of course.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I see many women at work, amongst them is the lovely Alibelle. I also have female friends outside of work, but I don't see many friends (male or female) one-on-one much anymore. It's usually hanging with another couple or having a few people over for dinner. Don't know if that's good or bad, just how it is.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I went to an all-girls high school and got kind of burned out on female companionship, so in college most of my friends were guys. Nowadays it's pretty much balanced out.

[Though thinking about it, most of my real-life conversations probably fail the Bechdel test because most of my offline friends are other parents, and I have a boy. Our kids aren't the only thing we talk about, but it would be unusual for the topic not to come up at all.]

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Pretty funny, Raq. Although, seriously, I'm not often the lead in my own life.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I used to be the only female at the comic book shop or the gaming store but these days I run into girls everywhere. The last time I went to a porno shop- myself and another woman were the ones in there.

My daughter got her belly button pierced a few weeks ago at a tattoo place and at one point every single customer was a woman.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I watched Sunshine Cleaning tonight (which totally passes the Bechdel), and I was very amused by the little too much candy scene. I don't know if it was mentioned here when it first came out.
