Last night, watching the Tonys, I was surprised at how short Dan Rad was when he presented next to Katie Holmes. Did not fit my mental picture of him.

For whatever imdb is worth, Katie is listed at 5'9" and Dan at 5'8". I guess if you put heels on her, she would tower over him. And Dan is still taller than Tom Cruise (5'7").

I think IMDB's fudging things -- it's possible he's had a huge growth spurt since then, but just last year he was claiming himself in interviews to be no more than 5'5 1/2".
