Compassionately intolerant

I loved Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang so much, I watched it twice in a row.

My RDJ love is similarly indiscriminate.

That movie was freaky - the protagonist puppet looked so much like Daniel Jackson that I couldn't think of it as the character it was actually supposed to be.

I absolutely adore the Puppet!Stargate episode, but have never seen Team America. I'll have to go find pictures to see if they used the same puppet.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

No, the Team America puppet actually looked more like Daniel than the one used in "200."

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

KKBB is a great movie. I highly recommend it. Really entertaining.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We've been watching Toy Story 2 a lot this week to prep Matilda for Toy Story 3.

I don't know if there's a sadder song in the Disney canon than "When She Loved Me" (the song about Jessie the Cowgirl's previous owner). Dag.

Though now that I've been corrupted by Glee I've been imagining them doing a Disney/Pixar song selection.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

They should do a Randy Newman episode.

Too subtle? Too much irony?

Though he's got amazing songs in his catalog like "I Think It's Going to Rain Today" and "You Can Leave Your Hat On."

Oh, I think it would confuse the hell out of most people. But I also think he's one of the best songwriters ever.

Awww, did you ever hear the song "For Randy Newman, etc." by The Chills?

It's a very affecting and pretty valentine to songwriters who have been overlooked and misunderstood, specifically citing Randy, Brian Wilson, Nick Drake, Syd Barrett, Scott Walker.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I don't know if there's a sadder song in the Disney canon than "When She Loved Me" (the song about Jessie the Cowgirl's previous owner). Dag.

I'm also rewatching the movies in prep for the third, and that scene brought me close to tears, unexpectedly. Not only because, you know, she's a fucking toy, but because I found her character really irritating before then. They pulled the old "Ha, we will make you care about a character you don't even like, mwahahaha!" trick.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

One of the best movie reviews I've ever read...and it's about Marmaduke , for fuck's sake!
