I tell you I have this theory. It goes where, you're the one who's not my sister. Cuz mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you cuz it could hurt your delicate baby feelings.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I want to dislike him too, but I've seen him on some British panel shows, and he can be really funny.

He has done some assholish things, I totally get that. On the other hand, some really funny interviews. And I just discovered he's taking krav from a friend of mine, so that'll amuse me for forever.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

He can be funny and an asshole. I hear the two are not mutually incompatible.

But the funny is charming! I want charming and asshole to be mutually incompatible. It's simpler that way. And usually I'm pretty good about writing off the assholes.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I want charming and asshole to be mutually incompatible.

There's a fine, fine line between charming and asshole.

OR

One person's "charming" is another person's "asshole."

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I still haven't read Deathly Hallows. I'm a-skeered. Also good at skimming.

That's sad news about Maggie Smith. ::queues up Prime of Miss Jean Brodie and Ladies in Lavender::

Our wings are not tired.

I don't know the sad news about Maggie Smith, because, having not seen or read any Harry Potter, but wanting to some day, I had to skim all of the previous posts.

But I got to see her on stage a couple of years ago in a West End production of The Lady From Dubuque. The play itself is pretty much crap, but she was awesome. Which, not a surprise.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

One person's "charming" is another person's "asshole."

So I was going to make a joke about Urban Dictionary, and then I saw definition number 5 for "charming."

Here's a tip: don't do what I just did.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I went and did what you did . . .

I'd be horrified if I wasn't giggling.

But my line? I like it to be bright.

:: returns from urbandictionary, stifling a guffaw::

Okay, now people are just making stuff up, right?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That's my guess. I would hope.
