Yeah, I can't imagine wanting to live there.
Speaking of sad and crazy, I finally watched
Let the Right One In.
I chose the English subtitles and they seemed fine. Afterwards, I saw the examples on the web and, as someone who has seen hundreds of foreign films with subtitles, I don't see what the fuss is about.
It gives me claustrophobia. It's dark and cluttered and everyone is sad and crazy.
And I wanted to live in that world. Probably why I moved to San Francisco.
And you'd lived in Boston, David? Which part was missing from that combo, in your opinion?
Bladerunner is on. What a depressing movie.
I thought the movie was depressing until I read the book. Electric Sheep made me want to open a vein. For reals.
Me, too, bonny!
I thought it was interesting that BBCA chose to broadcast the theatrical release instead of the later Director's cut.
Deathly Hallows trailer that aired during the MTV movie awards.
ita,
I appreciate the link, but after they fucked up so badly with the 6th HP movie, I feel a lot of trepidation with the conclusion of the series. I don't know how they are going to fix the problems that the 6th movie introduced.
at least I know they didn't change the ending.
I didn't even remember there were 6 movies. I am so out of it. I'm pretty sure I only skipped #2.
Maybe
#3. I'm a bad, bad fan.
I watched In Bruges and The Witches this weekend, thanks to the magic of...well, not Netflix.
Enjoyed both so much. The Witches with Anjellica Houston was really cool.
I love
The Witches
! They changed the ending, but that's okay.
