Actually, Frasier lasted from 1993 to 2004.
I first met John Mahoney back in 1990 when I was working at the library in Oak Park (IL), where he lives. I knew him as the dad in Say Anything and the coach from Eight Men Out. I helped him find a copy of Uncle Vanya which he was going to performing at the Goodman.
It was around 2000 when Mom and I sat next to him at a car wash in Oak Park. I did what I did at the library and pretended like I didn't recognize him, but Mom couldn't help herself and went over to him just before we got in our car to tell him that she loved his work and to thank him for the enjoyment. He was very gracious and thanked her in return.
I have an unreasonable fondness for The Cell, even though it's not a very good movie. It's so visually rich and fucked up, though.
This is the House Of Reason's views on The Cell. Such striking visuals! Shame about the plot.
I just want to say that any reviewer that cites the Hong Kong Cavaliers is all right by me.
No matter where you go, there you are.
No, no, no - don't tug on that. You never know what it might be attached to.
People are gonna come from all over. This boy's an Eskimo.
PT: Why do I have to do it?
BB: Because you're perfect.

*accepting shrug*

"Laugha whila you can monkey-boy"
