Now, this would be the perfect time for a swear word.

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I don't know who he is either, Jesse, and looking at pictures of him didn't inspire me to care.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

He's good looking, just somehow indistinct to me.

Review of the movie Babies, at the NYT: [link]

The best line is at the end: “Babies” is rated PG (Parental Guidance suggested). Breast feeding.

Yeah, gotta protect your CHILDREN from seeing BREASTFEEDING!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

His look in the movie was dead on the comic, as was the persona, but it wasn't a far stab from the cocky charisma he's shown elsewhere. I have certain cute guy blind spots, and he's totally in the centre of one of them. Adore him.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I recognize Chris Evans from FF, and as Jensen from the Losers, but it was hard reconciling what I thought of him with his character in Push, who was neither hyper nor witty. So, if he's playing a hyper, witty character, I know it's him. Otherwise? NSM.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I liked the bit where he said "Get out of there!"

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Ha! I had to share that with everyone I've ever met.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The David Lynch cameo made my morning.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

That's fantastic.
