Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I loved Krull ! When I was a kid. I have it on my DVR to watch it again someday.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

David - don't you mean krill?

Well, that would be the joke portion of the comment. However, now I'm thinking about Krill the Conquerer as rendered by Sergio Aragones.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

However, now I'm thinking about Krill the Conquerer as rendered by Sergio Aragones.

So, like this, except holding a sword?

move out and draw fire

Dude! Liam Neeson was in Krull ?!?

I thought Darkman was his first movie. Although now that you mention it, I guess he was.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Ha! No sword, but instead, The Glaive!

But there were firemares! A point could be made they were the best part of the movie.

Neeson was also in Excalibur, pre-Krull, and in Next of Kin (oy), all pre-Darkman.

It's certainly one of the first things I think of when I think about the movie.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

BBCA is currently showing V for Vendetta, which I can never surf past when it's on tv. I really should pick up the dvd for it.

One of my favorite movie lines: "For three years, I had roses, and apologized to no one."

Great line for sure.

I've mentioned it before but I'll note that Moore almost certainly based the Valerie character on Claude Cahun whose experience during the Nazi occupation of the Channel Islands is very similar.
