When you look back at this, in the three seconds it'll take you to turn to dust, I think you'll find the mistake was touching my stuff.

So this probably won't be playing anywhere most of you can see it, but there is a Paul Gross movie coming out this Friday in Canada, called Gunless.

It's a comedy western, with Paul Gross as an American outlaw ending up in a small Canadian town, and being confounded by politeness when trying to get into a gun fight. I also spotted CKR in the trailer.

I thought it worth mentioning here because, Paul Gross arms! Which, according to one scene in the trailer, look very fine indeed.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I have a friend who got to go to the premiere of that last night!

Fun! When I first saw the posters, I didn't even recognize Paul Gross, but the trailers look amusing anyway.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

but "Diablo Cody" *is* a bit Much.

Huh. It never even occurred to me that it might be a pen name. I know so many people whose actual names are so much less plausible. I mean, now that I think of it, sure, what parent would name their infant girl Diablo? And yet, I grew up with people sincerely and unironically named Aragorn and Arwen and Fritha Nicoletta.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's not her real name?

I am in no place to judge.

Okay, sometimes I judge. That time never occurred to me.

Because books.

I think her name is Brooke Burns or something.

A couple I know named their twins Luke and Leia. It's kind of fun to play "spot the cultural zeitgeist at your birth" with names.

Way to go to encourage inappropriate kissing.

I presume they've been raised since birth to know they're related, so they're safe.

DANGER WILL ROBINSON DANGER.

Tempting fate. IJS.

I wouldn't name my kid Oedipus even if I intended to raise him with me and his dad. It's a thing.
