Zoe: Don't think it's a good spot, sir. She still has the advantage over us. Mal: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special.

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. "already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I think all Buffistas would love "Jennifer's Body" I did. It was bloody though. But funny and femmeslashy and things Buffistas like.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

It, I think, describes the women frenemy thing so well.

We may start doing more editorial stuff on our site, and I may get to write more. That would be the first movie I would write about. That and Kontroll.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

We watched Jennifer's Body recently and enjoyed it. Kind of like a low rent/horror Heathers.

Because books.

I loved Jennifer's Body. Snarky, funny, scary. So wrongly marketed to boys.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

It's one of my favorite movies.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's one of my favorite movies.

How does it compare to Tango and Cash?

Are you crushing on Diablo?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I do love me some RR. His body...of work!...is quite entertaining

M DVR'd The Proposal for me, since he knows of my epic RR/Sandra Bullock/Betty White plus bonus Alaska. He apparently did not know about the Canadian (from Toronto!)/Alaskan plotline. The movie is meh, but cute. Minus the ridiculous "I'm in the boonies!" gags, of course.

Tango and Cash is a favorite for totally different reasons. Jennifer's Body is just deeply awesome and such a totally female story.

Diablo Cody, I'm not so crushed on, but this particular movie (after the first 1/3rd -- pacing needed some work there) is excellent.

Art Crawl!!!

The Secretariat trailer brought tears to my eyes.
