I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I think the combination of those is an Amy/Aimee thing.

But that might be an Amy/Aimee thing.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

And a Perkins thing.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

JDM was also on Weeds, so I know who he is from three shows. Although, again, maybe a Girl thing. I vaguely know who Zoe Saldana is, but only from her being mentioned as a "person of color" who should have gone on Vanity Fair's lily white "Young Hollywood" cover. The only image I am getting from Chris Evans is either Lana Lang's first boyfried dude or Marissa Cooper's first boyfirend dude.

I like Perkins things, too!

But Amy/Aimee has a such a nice ring to it.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I would know JDM's face from Grey's but not his name. I would know Zoe's name from all the avatar press, but not her face. Would not know the name Chris Evans and the images from the movie didn't ping me as the same guy from FF.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

while I love Chris Evans more, I find Sam Worthington more aesthetically interesting.

I'm so glad CE got to do The Losers, even if it did have me pining for Ryan Reynolds. I can only hope that SW gets a U.S. role that allows for a similar energy level. The three roles I've seen him in really haven't. T4 was such an overall disappointment, but he was still the most fascinating character for me in that. In Avatar Sully was half-dead without his legs and only gained a personality when in Na'avi form, and Clash of the Titans was more generic blah blah.

But CE has this weird ability to be invisible and even homely or geeky while still being this classic good-looking guy. He's pretty, yet manages to not be OMG!!! SW, as I've probably said before, is just refreshing to look at in a zen-like way for me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I know he's geek because he thought I meant Airbender when I said Avatar, but he did think Zoe was amazing when he worked out who she was. As for Chris Evans, he admitted he barely remembered anyone other than Alba from FF. Hmmph.

Coco puffs:

I think CE is as all-that as you can get in the Ryan Reynolds school of things without being Ryan himself. I adore him.
