Well, he is a sniper. He has to avoid being seen.
Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
True.
I mistakenly ventured into the imdb boards. Um, are people seriously hating on Zoe Saldana for taking roles where she's romantically involved with a white actor?
Of course they are. This is the Internet.
I was getting the impression that it was African-Americans who were being offended, which is just silly.
Then I just read an interesting comment in Ebert's review where he noted that JDM was lit to look more like ZS's skin tone.
But amongst all the crazy talk was an interesting story about how Will Smith wanted to cast a dark-skinned actress in Hitch and he was forced to go with lighter (Eva Mendes) and that test audiences were made uncomfortable with a black/black pairing. Huh?! I have other thoughts on this, but am hesitant to voice them. So I'll just leave it at "huh?!"

Oh, that's just bullshittery.
I had heard about the Smith/Mendes thing, though. He's big, but not big enough for a white love interest.
Yes, I admit I have friends with attention spans like hamsters. I do mock them for it, if that makes you feel any better.
Am now watching Push, and who do I see but Colin Ford (wee Sam Winchester to the Supernatural peeps)!

Everytime I see Push, I think Precious.
