Kinda what I was wondering--how can Russell Crowe make Robin Hood without people calling it the next Gladiator as long as it features a) costumes and b) fighting and c) period setting.
The producer called it "the Gladiator version of Robin Hood." So there's that.
I find that my enthusiasm for Crowe has evaporated completely in the wake of his phone-throwing tantrum.
I flew to Austin, TX in August to hear his crappy garage band. I have too much investment in Russell Crowe at this point.
