A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Here's a good rant: I Demand Better Vampires!
I think it's a really bad idea to watch so little of an established series (two episodes of a two season run, really?) and get upset about the depiction of the vampires in it. Because on one hand, she's wrong like a wrong thing in wrong panties.
This may be heresy, but I think I prefer Valmont to Dangerous Liaisons.
I think that's a defensible position.
I so concur.
Valmont has Colin Firth, right? Totally defensible.
I like Valmont better too!
I've never seen it. I should fix that!
It was a very sensual production. It's been forever since I last watched it.
