Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

And yet it appears on many "scariest movies" lists. Ah well, scary != good.

Really? I thought it was long forgotten relic of the early 80s. Huh.

Because books.

The novel is fantastic. So much of his earlier stuff was just epic. The movie is pretty silly, watching it now. But Alice Krige is always pretty.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

It least it had a few good elderly actors being featured in major roles. But yeah, Fenny and Gregory Bates were terrifying in the book, and just kinda pathetic in the movie.

Our wings are not tired.

Ghost Story terrified me as a kid (the book). I never saw the movie. I heart Peter Straub.

Not to mention non-sensical without Sears James' story.

So much of his earlier stuff was just epic.

I think Shadowland is my favorite, but Ghost Story was close.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Whedon And Super-Size Me Director Are Casting Their Comic Con Documentary

Rumor has it Morgan Spurlock and geek overlord Joss Whedon may teaming up for a project documenting fan culture at San Diego Comic Con. And they're looking for three subjects to follow around. Any takers?

After making a bunch of fanboy jokes, E! is reporting that Whedon and Spurlock are currently looking for the ultimate geeks to profile in a possible Comic Con documentary.

"They want to follow people for about three months leading up to this year's Comic-Con," the source said. "And then they want to film them there. They're looking at all types of people."

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Rewatching The Fall. My love just grows. And now the end that usually ticks me off I finally get. Where before I viewed it as a horrific testimony to the f***ed up things stunt people did back in the day as compared to now and therefore was completely not in keeping with the rest of the story, I suddenly realized that it was about Alexandria's imagination and the power of that and that, whatever happened to Roy, in her eyes, he lived on forever in her eyes. Every stuntman was him, walking, standing, climbing, jumping and falling. The control she took over his story that finally gave him a reason to live, gave him the ability to heal and walk. Even if it isn't true, it's her story now.

Rewatching Inglourious Basterds I just caught that the basterds' seats at the premiere are Tarantino's usual seats at the Cinerama Dome (Row CC).
