Re Green Acres: Must have missed that one. Was it completely horrendous?

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Was it completely horrendous?

Oh lord yes.

I had to look it up on IMDb while watching to figure it out.

Basically they all seemed to be in one of the BBC Jane Austens. Willoughby I recognized right away, but I was surprised that Helen turned out to be Jane Bennett.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Green Acres is actually a pretty funny show, a spin off of Petticoat Junction. Just not exactly female empowering.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The Catalog of Cool loved Green Acres, though admittedly they considered the entire show to be surreal.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Helen turned out to be Jane Bennett

I knew her from Doom.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

My all-time favorite Bewitched episode is airing today, the one where Serena gets Boyce & Hart to play at the Witch's Cotillion. [link] Although, I've been really annoyed the last few times I've seen it aired -- the network edits out a good chunk of the scene where Serena sings "her" song "Blow You a Kiss in the Wind".

Scola, FTW! Recent airings have omitted the entire middle part of the song. Boo!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I had to look it up on IMDb while watching to figure it out. Rosamund Pike! Alfred Molina!

And Carey Mulligan, aka Sally Sparrow from Doctor Who's "Blink" episode! She was also in the Keira Knightly P&P, as Kitty Bennett.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I just watched Doug Ellin's feature film(or at least the one he still likes,) "Kissing a Fool"...it's very cute, and basically is like what would happen if Jason Lee and David Schwimmer played Chicago!Vince and E and competed over a girl. Somehow, it feels more like TV, though and I'm not sure why I say that, although most of the actors in have TV careers and most indies don't have people blowing up shit.
