Because books.

(Boy meets girl, boy's split personality alter-ego founds worldwide underground militia, boy gets girl. Oldest story in the book.)

Bwah!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm going to see Twilight. What can I say, I was a 13-year-old girl once.

Luckily, I've never been a 13-year-old girl.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wasn't ever that 13 year old girl. But I just realised that the Sherlock Holmes movie is coming out when my sister will be here. Good slashy fun for the family!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I should try to make plans with my sister to see that.

Now tagless for your comfort.

DH gave Owen a piece of USA Today with the review on Planet 51. The next thing I know, the boy's complaining because it only got 1 1/2 stars! He said, "Awwwww, they don't think it's funny!"

I'm going to have to wait to see New Moon until after Thanksgiving. But I'm going to try to find someone to go see it with me.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Black-and-white movie day!

The Night of the Hunter was creepy and suspenseful, but the second half was weaker than the first half. Still, good villain.

The Philadelphia Story was great! Cary Grant! Jimmy Stewart! Katharine Hepburn! Plus, Dinah was awesome.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Those are two of my faves, P-C! Love 'em both.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Philadelphia Story is AWESOME. Dinah is totally me. And the whole film is so quotable.

I could not sully my previous post with this, but we went to see Bad Lieutenant: Blah Blah tonight and it was SO BAD, y'all. Nick Cage would have been laughed out of freshman acting class, he was so bad. And the story veered between overheated melodrama and bad cliche cop action. I do not know where the good reviews came from.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Probably from the people who feel badly about Nic's financial situation.
