You know, it's nice to see that I am not the only person that confuses what I've seen in canon and what I've read in fanfic.
'Beneath You'
Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
I thought he went to establish and take charge of that Vulcan colony. Of course, that may just be my insane take on things.
He found the site of the colony.
But Spock was going to resign and help establish the colony, so Spock Prime implied that he'd do that for him, allowing Spock to hang with Kirk.
I imagine they didn't get The Tick and Suddenly Susan over there, but the misconception of NC is pretty hilarious
Former: not that I'm aware of, but I miss a lot. Latter: we got Suddenly Susan.
The article's just badly researched. The Guardian can do better.

Ah, smoothing the course of true love.

Okay, thanks. I was fairly sure that had happened.
They should bring in the Guardian of Forever. That would be cool. Or the Hortas.
No. Le Nubian, thanks for the vote for swagger(Rule 1, in fighting like Ari Gold, go right for the groin...or at least he does. Boom! Fuck your arguments...how's your penis?) I think, so far, it's worked for me because it's so not who I am that it's like sucker-punching people through the "tubes". Also, if I think like him, I'm not all "Gee, maybe I shouldn't have said *that*" But, seriously, five years is nothing.
There should be a movie about the alternate reality where all the Red Shirts go when they die....

But they often don't. The Guardian's political bias is similar to my own. But they are fucking sloppy about getting facts right. Any time I see them writing about a political or environmental subject I know about I catch sloppy errors.

They're not known as the Grauniad for no reason. They can't get much right. It's a shame, a) because they're the only paper that speaks for me (in a country with a lot of right-wing rags) and I'd like to be able to trust what they write rather than having to look up every 'fact' they quote, and b) because their better-researched articles prove they *can* do better.
