Interesting, Scrappy. It's been all over the radio lately. I probably wouldn't see it in theatres, anyway. It will be interesting how people like it. Given the people involved and the lineage of the film, I would imagine that people would be inclined to review it favorably.
I couldn't stand
Wicked
the book. Hates Gregory maguire I do. Hates him.
The musical is fun.
So I just saw
Let the Right One In.
I think this may be my new all-time favorite vampire movie.
Also, check out these cool dolls: [link]

Wasn't it great? However, I feel the book was even better than the movie. Waaaaay more disturbing.

I feel moved to remind people that my birthday is a mere 9 days away, and vampire dolls are always appropriate gifts. ::grin::
(Edit: Unless they're Twilight-related. But Twilight has nothing to do with proper vampires, so I shouldn't need to point that out, right?)

I read a Wikipedia entry on the book. It explained the relationship between Eli and the old guy.
Yeah, I can see the book being way more disturbing. Which means I need to read it
now.
eta: I just bought a lock for my bike. Which means I can zip to downtown Evanston to buy it right now....

Wise to point this out since they are releasing Twilight Barbies. For real.
Ken and Barbie are, however, the perfect dolls for Twilight.
Well that's just silly. That totally undercuts the message of the stories, because everyone knows what little girls and boys do with Barbie Dolls.

Please tell me Mattel is making the Edward doll out of glittery, glittery plastic. Please.
