Inara: I think she looks adorable. Mal: Yeah, but I never said it.

Hey. New board.

I've seen Adventureland.

I want to see Audition, but I also don't want to.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Zombieland made me want to check out Adventureland, seriously, because the actor is just that good.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

He reminded me of a taller Michael Cera. But I've heard good things about Adventureland.

I saw Funny Games last night. It was...strange. And not as interesting as I'd hoped. The meta moments didn't elevate the film above its base premise.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Last Days of Disco is the only one from that list I've seen, and I've not only watched it multiple times but also own the soundtrack.

I just don't think I'm made of stern enough stuff to enjoy Audition.

Because books.

I thought Columbus *was* Michael Cera for a few minutes. Oops. But yeah, I wanted to see Adventureland when it came out, and just didn't get there. I really liked the look of it.

I thought about putting that one in our queue but the reviews turned me off. Plus, I didn't love the fact that their kid is there for the whole thing, apparently? Some things I can't watch easily.

Yeah, I thought it'd be an interesting movie to watch after The Strangers, but it's very different. It's still people terrorizing a couple for no reason, but it's not scary. It's more...unnerving. Because the two guys are so polite. It's amusing sometimes. But, yes, the trailers never seemed to mention or show it, but their kid is part of it too. I was intrigued by the promise of fourth-wall-breaking, but it only happens a few times.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I wish I could unwatch Hostel 2 so (judging from the discussion) neither Audition nor Funny Games is for me. Misery was already on my 'no' pile and it's pointless anyway since popular culture has already spoiled the whole plot for me.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I was watching "Senseless" with Behr from "Roswell" and I could tolerate his tongue getting burned with the iron, but when the hostage takers took a nail gun and approached his nose, I stopped the movie.

I never went back. I don't know what happens in that movie.

The 9 Stupidest Surprise Endings Imaginable

(Spoilers, obviously.)

[eta: It's amazing how many of these movies I've seen but blocked out the endings too.]
