Yeah, it was very atmospheric and nicely done.
Chthulhu Mansion, not so much.

There don't seem to be a lot of Lovecraftian movies: Haunted Palace, Call of Cthulu (the recent silent one); Re-animator, The Dunwich Horror...
There was a Boris Karloff one that was an adaption of The Colour Out of Space, but it was called something else. Also, From Beyond may as well have been Lovecraft (it was more true to the spirit of Lovecraft than Re-Animator, love that film though I do).
Night Gallery did a version of Cool Air.
And lord knows the Evil Dead movies put Lovecraft in a blender with Looney Tunes and The Three Stooges and hit frappe.
We're going to see Kevin Smith tonight!! Woohoo!!
Love Kevin Smith.
Cool. Check out this set of Eurospy posters.
Note that beautiful Bond girl, Daniella Bianchi, got to be a badass spy in Special Mission Lady Chaplin.
I love the silent Call of Cthulhu. Cool Air is here from Netflix, but S4 Supernatural is taking priority.
Dagon, or something similar, was pretty good. A Spanish or Portuguese movie, I think.
There's also an episode of Masters of Horror that adapted "Dreams in the Witch House."
John Malkovich has been cast as Lucien Lauren in the movie Secretariat.
Also, Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette from True Blood) has been cast as Eddie Sweat - Secretariat's groom.
Malkovich as Lauren?
You know what'd be awesome? If everything in Secretariat was of your typical big-budget Hollywood flick, except all the horses were pantomime horses....
Hee.
