I hope you don't think that I just come over for the spells and everything. I mean, I really like just talking and hanging out with you and stuff.

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm asking a question nobody in the industry seems to ask: Why?(not about cage or Roberts, but Poltergeist in general)

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Because they built the movie studio on an ancient Indian burial ground.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Yeah I hate the creepy stop-motion people too. There was one trailer where an old man was crawling upside down and backwards. shudder. But I'll watch Paul Bettany in anything... Except another Lars von Trier film.

OMG, that's so cool.

Saw District 9 last night, and WOW! It's pretty violent, and in most cases, graphically so, but the performances are across the board excellent, and the WETA special effects are easily the best I've ever seen in anything.

Continuing - again the SFX for District 9 are just flawless.

But what's really compelling is the story. It's openly an allegory for apartheid, and it gets you to care very deeply about the alien ("prawn") characters.

I look forward to your review.

Also I feel compelled to note that this makes three movies in a row, where the movie really lingers with you afterwards (Moon, 500 Days of Summer, and now D9).

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I'm seeing D9 tonight too. I worry about the comment about graphic violence, but if I dealt with Alien and Alien 2, can it be worse?
