BT - definitely not the 2nd one. I love that movie and saw it multiple times.
It is the Alien movie where an alien gets in a cat or dog and the alien comes out looking extra weird as a result. Washed out colors. Not the aliens with Wynona Ryder.

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Wow ita, creepy animation notwithstanding that movie looks awesome.
le nubian -- That's Alien 3. But it's not about AIDS; that's just silly.
It's about abortion.
Hey, the Village Voice said so. (Yes, I know.)
I have not seen it since it was in theaters; I should give it another look. I remember that it was not a good movie at all, but it did have some moments I liked. (The dog being one of them.) Which is Fincher for you.

I was a little iffy on it, cool concept aside, until the last minute or so, which had lots of things blowing up and angels using their wings as weapons. Now that was good stuff.
I liked Aliens 3, too!
I always remember a Family Double Dare episode where the question was "What was the name of the sequel to Alien?" And the first family was all, "Alien 2?" Bzzt. And the second family was all, "Return of the Alien?"
Alien 2 - Alien Boogaloo?
Did we know there's a Poltergeist remake in process? WTF? [link]
Ooo, maybe Tobe Hooper will direct it this time.

I did, and WTF pretty much covers it.
