Oh yeah! I saw a double-feature of Alien and The Thing when I was 9. Which, oddly enough, I don't remember being really scared by. A bit grossed out, and I jumped at the startling bits, but I went home and slept just fine.

I've mentioned this before, but seeing Suspiria at age 13 in a theater really freaked me out for days (or months, I dare say). It's been very rarely since that something in a movie has scared me or grossed me out (it had its share of both), at least in any lasting way.
Prior to that, I saw the Haunting when I was home alone around age 8, and stupid me wathced it with the lights out. All I had to do was think about the booming noises, or the whispery voices and I wouldn't be able to sleep. Oddly enough, the bulging door didn't register at the time, but lord knows that's a freaky moment when I see it now.

I wasn't allowed to see horror movies as a kid. I specifically remember not being allowed to see Jaws or Alien. (But the winged monkeys scared me, as you can't run away from them.)
I did see Friday the 13th Part 3 in 3D and Jaws 3 in 3D in the theaters, and thought they were both goofy.
Still haven't seen any of the Nightmare on Elm St. movies, despite having the same last name as the killer....

I haven't seen Audition though. While I may be pretty hardcore about scary movies, I know my limits and something tells me a movie that freaked Rob Zombie out is going to be beyond them.
Yeah, I haven't seen it. I've seen clips, but not the entire movie.
I've only seen the MCR video based off of it. That's eough for me, thanks. Not really a fan of horror movies - I think I saw Them as a wee kid, and then Evil Dead and Lost Boys when I was 12(?), but nothing in between, and I never really got a taste for them. I mean, E.T. freaked me out in the theater, I think my parents realized that I'm not so much cut out for actual horror/suspense.

Juliana is me - I really don't enjoy seeing gore onscreen, so the majority of horror movies are a no-go from the beginning. The only ones I really like are things like The Others which are just good creepy stories, but for the most part I just don't bother with horror at all.
(Blair Witch did nothing for me beyond seasickness. I really couldn't figure out why three people walking in circles for an hour and a half was supposed to be terrifying instead of yawn-inducing.)
