According to the info I got from going through the Alice In Wonderland exhibit at ComicCon (wheeeee!), Alice is a grown woman, and there's some sort of big fight with the Jabberwock, which is the embodiment of ultimate evil? Alice is going to be in armor, and will be wielding the Vorpal sword? I don't know. On the one hand, dear Mr. Burton, couldn't you have just worked with the original story? On the other hand, Oh My God, the eye candy. Everything I saw in the exhibit looked FANTASTIC, and I want the Red Queen's entire wardrobe.

I wound up being suckered into buying an anime while I was there because I stuck around so long watching Ponyo on their video screen, and because they had all kinds of cool Korean TV shows and Thai horror movies on top of the super rare anime and movies and TV shows.

In watching this hulu video of Peter Jackson talking about District 9, I was struck by how incredibly thin he is now. In a Stephen King sort of thinner way. Which is not good.
