I am stupidly excited about Keanu! I think have rewound and watched every trailer I've stumbled across (and there have been A LOT!)

I'm not fond of baseball either, but it makes the best sports movies.

True that. Heh. Although my favorite sports movie of all time may be Slap Shot, and I'm NOT a hockey fan at all.

I love Slap Shot, but if I take my love of hockey out of the equation I think Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, and A League of Their Own are probably better movies.

And Ron Shelton was the writer director of White Men, Tin Cup and Bull Durham. Perfect triple feature.

It was really weird to rewatch Bull Durham when I lived in Durham. Lots and lots of it was shot in places I went all the time. (Like the old ball park, which we walked by on the way to the Farmer's Market every week.)
