vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

How can it be live-action? Do they have dog janitors now?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Nah, they'll just cast it with a bunch of white kids...

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I just got my ticket for Harry Potter! Tomorrow at 6:10 pm--I just have to be sure to get out of the office by 5:00 at the latest.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I feel quite certain that with Scatman Crothers among the dearly departed, they will instead hire Tracey Morgan to do the voice. shudder

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

A bunch of people on Twitter are doing twisted Netflix recommendations (#netflixfkdup), with gems like:

"If you liked TOOTSIE, you'll love BOYS DON'T CRY." - @wordwill

"If you liked NATIONAL LAMPOON'S EUROPEAN VACATION, you'll love HOSTEL." - @raven1967

Because I need to know everything about Old Boy and I've never seen Castaway, I need this one explained for me:

"If you liked CASTAWAY, you'll love OLD BOY!" - @jonrog1

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Because I need to know everything about Old Boy and I've never seen Castaway, I need this one explained for me:

On a desert island for many years vs. locked in a room for many years.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Aha. I was focussing on the many other (distracting) aspects of Old Boy and missing the most obvious one of Castaway.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

A nice interview with Daniel Radcliff: [link]

He seems like such a nice kid. And the stuff he said about Guy Ritchie and Madonna is hilarious. (Also, poor Emma!)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am sure this will get lost in all the HP5 excitemnt (which I completely share), but I wanted to say that I went to a screening of Julie & Julia last night. I expected to love meryl Streep and hate the film, since it was a Nora Ephron Joint.

OF COURSE I loved Streep, but I actually liked the film very much as well. The story is formulaic, but it's well cast and well-acted and so so so gorgeous. It was really nice to see a marriage portrayed onscreen which is loving passionate, respectful and fun.
