I think I'm going to go see Girl in Woods next week at the indie film fest, as it's near a place I want to go for Memphis Downtown Dining Week. Alas, Carol and the Whit Stillman-hosted anniversary showing of Metropolitan were sold out.

Oh, wow, Metropolitan! I love those movies. Barcelona is probably the one I quote most often, but they're all so good.
Also, dining week! I'm jealous. I think my local restaurant week is coming up in January which wifi be here before I know it, but still, Memphis Downtown Dining sounds great.

I have resigned myself to just getting the Blu-Rays of both of those movies. Maybe I can catch third-run if either are Oscar-nominated (The Martian probably will be).

Yeah, that's about right. Or rather, I could probably tell you some events that happened in the movie, and maybe in what order, but I couldn't tell you why they were supposed to matter to anyone. It's one thing for a Bond villain to have an idiotic plan, it's another thing altogether for a Bond villain to have no plan at all. Beyond...talking about how evil he is, I guess? Because reasons?
Christophe Waltz is still fun to watch, though, even when he's trapped in a thankless role and phoning it in.
