Yes. Although I think they darkened the screen for tv so we wouldn't see all ther grossness. Still, we saw enough.

The Day After led me to walk across the country. Testament led me to become a professional peace activist, and Fail Safe was riveting.

I realize they have nothing in common except the director, and the words aren't actually that similar, but every time I see Crimson Peak, I think it's talking about Pacific Rim.

I just got back from Crimson Peak. So. Much. Fun! I want to wear poofy sleeves and be enigmatic while banging Tom Hiddleston.
Of course, I kinda wanted that before I saw the movie, too.
But now I have a color palette and lace combo in mind.

I thought Crimson Peak was okay. I felt like it took foreeeeeeeverrrrrrr to get to the fucking house, and then the ghosts, even though they looked cool, didn't really...do...much. So I was probably expecting/wanting a different movie than what I got, even though del Toro helpfully explains at the very beginning that it's not a ghost story but a story with ghosts in it. Of course it looks beautiful and there are some nice moments, but I didn't really connect with it. Still had a good time, though.
