I feel... what's the word for bored, mildly irritated indifference?
After the last Batman and Superman movies, I'm just out of care. Reboot them both, give me the Batman and Superman that feels real and familiar to me, and I'm in like Flynn, whoever Flynn is. This dark "gritty" world DC has created in their movies is exhausting and dispiriting to me, and I don't want to play in it anymore.
But that's just me. Alla y'all who're enjoying it, carry on.
I pretty much always agree with Zen, but no more so than today.
Out. of. care. where Batman is concerned. Saddened but, eh. There are other place to put my attention.
I don't think Ben Affleck is necessarily an automatic kiss of death, and I wish him well, but I won't be lining up for this one.
Well, duh, you're supposed to feel *OUTRAGE*. This is the Internet, right?
Oh, right. I'll work on that.
At least Ben Affleck is not Zack Snyder.

I've been in the not interested camp for a long while. But then again, no one ever got rich making movies that cater to my tastes, so I can't really complain that they aren't making my kind of movies.
Well, people have made more than a billion dollars each on three movies that cater to my tastes recently, and I'm not thrilled about a monochromatic noir Superman movie either.

The closest I can think of is "ennui" but that's not quite right.
I've also lost interest in the DC movie-verse. At least their TV shows are still enteritis entertaining me.
On the other side of the coin, I'm interested to see how the new Sony/Marvel team up with a teenage Spider-man (that actually looks like a teenager) works out.

Then they should worry when they lose you as an audience. I've already been given up for dead.

Blasé
?
Or how about "relaxed," in the Arthur Dent sense?
"I may need a quote...How do you feel about having ridden on Halley's Comet?"
"I haven't," said Arthur with a suppressed sigh, "ridden on Halley's Comet."
"OK. How do you feel about not having ridden on Halley's Comet?"
"Pretty relaxed, Murray."
You know, I love John Cusack as much as any child of the 80s, but dude: you are not the right guy for swords-and-sandals epics:

I'm agog at the very concept of this movie. Who thought this was a good idea?
Well, it does have Jackie Chan. Which goes a long way to invalidate other arguments.
