So that's my dream. That and some stuff about cigars and a tunnel.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Amazing man. Amazing life.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

RIP Christopher Lee. The first movie I remember seeing him in was Dracula: Prince of Darkness. It was a double feature with The Plague of the Zombies (both Hammer Films.) I remember watching them from the balcony of the Oriental Theater in Milwaukee. That was 1966 and I was 8 years old. Ah, the old days: two movies with cartoons between them. ::nostalgic::

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

He was one of those people I really thought would live forever.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Fox Animation Nabs 'Nimona' Adaptation With 'Feast' Director (Exclusive)

I just squeed!

eta:

In a competitive situation, Fox Animation has landed the rights to Nimona, the New York Times best-selling graphic novel by Noelle Stevenson, for an adaptation to be directed by Patrick Osborne, the helmer behind the Oscar-winning animated short Feast.

"A competitive situation" - I've always thought Nimona would make a great animated film and was wondering why I'd never heard anything on this subject. I guess Noelle Stevenson's been busy behind the scenes.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

I think I would prefer it as live-action instead of animation, though.

I was thinking it'd be too... cartoony for live-action. But I can't really explain it better.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Noelle Stevenson is KILLING IT between this and the Lumberjanes movie.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I watched Divergent yesterday. It wasn't a bad film, but I was squicked by the age difference between the lead and her co-star. Probably because I usually see her playing teenagers and him playing adults.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I saw Mad Max, finally! Loved it. Most everyone has commented on everything.

I remember the Road Warrior not making much sense. It was kind of nihilistic. this was more circular and most of the events were satisfying in the end.

The guy who played Nox is in everything, isn't he?
