Doesn't ring a bell to me either.
Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Did Tumblr make up something again?
Maybe someone who didn't see Captain America: The First Avenger misunderstood the German Scientist reference?
It's possible, but I liked that joke and feel like it is something else. Maybe when he was discussing Hydra?
I think this may be the article that spurred the Twitter question : [link]
I am now having a furious texting conversation with lil bro about Avengers.
Was he doing an Australian accent, or a South African one?
Sith Ifrican.
Sith Ifrican.
As opposed to Orstrayliyan? (Or the ever-popular Strine.)
Yup!
It was a pretty good SA accent, as far as I could tell, though I am a long way from being an expert.
So I finally saw Pitch Perfect last night. That was hella fun. Not exactly surprising, but really entertaining nonetheless.
Just got back from Age of Ultron and I enjoyed it a lot.
As much as I like the Hawkguy comics, I was perfectly happy with the farm scenes. I was very glad Clint got to do some more in this and be snarky with Quicksilver.
I totally read the Black Widow "monster" conversation as a reference to her being trained as an assassin and not her infertility. Though I can see how it could be read the other way.
I have no idea what holocaust reference/joke people are talking about, because I certainly didn't notice one.
ETA: I also loved the Hulkbuster Ironman/Hulk fight and Tony's terror/pleading with him to just get knocked out already.
