Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
OK. So. I guess I've my head down and grinding at work too much to miss something if that is based off something recent. *sigh*
Granted I don't watch any celeb things and I avoid web sites that would show that shit and....I guess I miss stuff.
That's from 1999.
Has anyone posted this yet?
I couldn't figure out if it belonged here or in Jossverse due to the total Jossyness of it. Seriously. The Troupe is all here.
I've already written off Batman v Superman; I haven't even bothered to watch the trailer yet. I was holding out some hope for Suicide Squad, because it's such a solid concept that's really difficult to screw up. But dear God no.
Ugh, noooooo.
I like it.

From the comments: "Does the cast of Dollhouse just travel around in a pack?"
That looks fun. I'll probably go see it.

Oh no. Ugh. I think I'm done with DC movies, y'all. Even WW may not be enough to get me to sit through another one.
I'll go see The Dark Knight Returns 2: More Darkerer because I'm a Henry Cavill fan and want to see what the new Wonder Woman is like, but this doubling down on the bleak grittiness is a 180° wrong turn from what a Superman movie should be.
And I'm pretty sure I won't be paying to see it 5 times like I did for Man of Steel.
I like the Joker look.
