Ahahahaha! It made me laugh, because I sure knew guys in college who adhered to that guideline.
Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Y'all stayed after the credits for the Stan Lee cameo, right?
Oh, hell yes. I'm willing to call that the best Stan Lee cameo ever.
t edit When we first saw the family portrait, I said,"That looks like Stan Lee!"
Is this BH6 you're talking about, with the cameo?
Yup. It's pure gold.
Keanu Reeves, I'm Sorry I Doubted You.
Any Keanu Reeves fans here? No one here likes Keanu Reeves, right? I don't think there's anyone here who would appreciate this post but here it is anyway.
I love Keanu Reeves. I had no idea he was fifty, though! Wow.
There are actually several Keanu fans here.
I think he's very good in the proper role. He has a great physicality which plays well on screen.
He was fantastic in Speed. He was also great in The Devil's Advocate. I loved him in Sweet November (I think that was what it was called?), although it was generally a terrible, sappy movie.
I am a big Keanu fan.
I really love him in Constantine. I don't think he's much like the character in the comic, but I don't care. I think it's a good performance in a really good, rewatchable film.
Also, the Lake House is underrated. Pretty good little romance and fascinating premise.
Plus, as noted, he's just a genuinely good, thoughtful person.
