I like that the Aquaman costume mirrors some of Mamoa's own tattoos.
Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
But DC is the House of Grim and Gritty!
Surprised there isn't already a discussion of Jason Momoa's Aquaman costume:
Couldn't discuss it. Haven't caught my breath yet.
I was discussing it places more suited to the discussion.
Places where we can endlessly post and reblog the image, then follow it up with some shirtless action.
Just saw Birdman. That is a weird film. Good, but weird.
I saw it the other night, and maybe I was high on cough syrup, but I thought it was well-made and full of shit.
We are watching Boyhood right now.
I really enjoyed Birdman, but this quote about it made me snort:
Birdman, after all, is a movie about someone who hopes to create something as good as Boyhood.
Ha!
I liked Boyhood more than I thought I would, considering it contains my nemesis, Ethan Hawke. It kind of lost me in the end, though. I think maybe it was just a little too long.
I'm not saying they should have done the orange shirt (because that really would look horrible on-screen. It's bad enough on the page.)
They could have done it as copper scale mail, maybe with a patina of green.
