And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So, for people who are fans of extremely British movies and have children of any age, go and see Paddington. Every moment is charming beyond belief, but Hugh Bonneville and Sally Hawkins (and Peter Capaldi!) keep it from boiling over into twee sappiness. Nicole Kidman is an excellent villain. The animation is really well done. There is one spectacularly bad pun following a set piece that is awesome.

Between this and Galavant (and Downton and 2012 and W1A), Hugh Bonneville is maybe my favorite actor onscreen right now. Nobody is better at being disappointed that things aren't being done properly. Nobody.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The trailers for Paddington looked awful but it's received nothing but rave reviews.

This makes me want to see it more than anything else.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I loved Paddington as a kid. I may see if Ryan would like to see it.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

So, Guardians, right?!

...

Okay, so, I got here late.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Guardians, hell yeah! My Rocket Raccoon bobblehead nods in agreement. Of course, he agrees with everything. "Rocket, should I sell the house and move to Costa Rica?" *nod*

Zack Snyder sure loves owls, huh?

My favorite part of GotG was Rocket as part of the line protecting NovaCorps (or whatever the name was) and talking to the guy apparently in charge of the bunch up against the big ship.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My favorite part of GoTG was, well, the whole thing.

I'm going to miss when Stan Lee's not around to do cameos.
