Sunrise with Janet Gaynor? I've always wanted to see that.

Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Ryan Reynolds is shirtless on the cover of Entertainment Weekly. Whatever movie he did that for, I thank the director.
He looks overtanned, though. (Not that I've spent time looking at it, or anything.) (Om nom nom nom.)

Yep. And George O'Brien. It's beautiful.

It's for the new Sandra Bullock rom-com, The Proposal. I've watched it, mostly because I like rom-com as a genre and have a everlasting weakness for Sandra Bullock, but it's not very good. But Reynolds is half-naked in a couple of scenes though.
I don't think that's for a movie, it's just what EW decided to do.

My sistah! She's adorable and hysterical, even in the dreck.

Hahaha, oh, good. You don't want to know how often I have watched Two Weeks Notice, which is my favourite of the Bullock rom-com oeuvre. I love it (almost) unironically. I own the damn movie, even.
I think I have seen that? I probably liked it.
Miss Congeniality was much funnier than I expected it to be.
I have nothing intelligent to add - I just wanted to share that my ridiculous crush on Kal Penn made me DVR not only Van Wilder (which also has Ryan Reynolds, om nom nom nom), but Van Wilder 2: The Rise Of Taj. The first one is cute, the 2nd one, meh. Plus, Penn's accent suffers from major slippage.
No, shame, juliana. I watched them both at my sister's this weekend. I like KP. Plus, Ryan Reynolds: His arms make me wibble.
Anyone have the word on G-Force? I feel like I'm going to have to go into that one blind. Owen's dying to see it and he wants a guinea pig.
That talks.
She (Sandra Bullock) has fantastic comedic timing. It's dead on.
Other than one genius line delivery ("what kind of beer?") Kate Hudson's entire career has bored me to tears. With Bullock, there's a sharpness to her; Hudson is like a foamy boring marshmallow.
